2 Month Check Up
On Thursday we took Andrew to the doctor. We found out he now weighs 10 lbs. 6 oz. and is 22 inches long. He is a growing boy. It was also time for his immunizations. Ouch, no fun. He really did not like getting the shots. He had to have three in all. He cried after the first one, and then screamed at the top of his lungs for the other two. It was so hard to watch. Afterward, I tried to get him to eat to help calm him down. It took him a minute or two before he stopped crying enough to get him to eat. Then he would only do a couple of sucks and then come off and cry a little bit, then eat some more and then cry again. It was like he would stop to say, "It hurts" and then "It really, really hurts." He is so cute, even when crying. But I am not looking forward to going in again in a couple of months.

I wish I could say it gets easier, but it doesn't. I hate it when they have to get shots. The only thing that is nice now with Owen is they give the shots in the arm instead of the leg so changing diapers is less painful for him afterwards.
