Josiah Rolling Over

Last week when Micah was working swing shift he missed Josiah rolling over for the first time. I kept trying to get him doing it on video so Daddy could see, but he didn't cooperate with me. But Micah did get to see him do it multiple times this weekend. One of the times was when Micah put him down for a nap (Josiah loves to sleep on his tummy so we put him down that way). And when Micah put him on his tummy in his crib he looked up to see Daddy and ended up rolling onto his back, which made him giggle. Micah turned him over, but he did it again. Hopefully it won't be a problem until he learns to roll from his back to his tummy.

Another Baby in the House?

The other night I heard a noise in the dining room. I went to investigate and this is what I found. Leo, our cat, had found a pacifier and thought it was a great toy to play with. Then he bit it and had it in his mouth. I just had to take a picture since he looked so funny.
Thankfully Josiah doesn't like the pacifier, so I don't mind that Leo ruined this one.

Josiah's First Solid Food

Josiah is now getting to experience baby cereal. And he LOVES it! Last week he started waking up earlier in the morning, and I thought it might be because he is getting hungry. So I decided to feed him some cereal at dinnertime to see if that helped. And it did!
He is so cute whenever we feed him he watches the spoon and turns towards it. And he has to get those fingers in his mouth to help him "eat". I can't wait to start making baby food again and see how he likes all the new flavors and textures.

Brothers

It has been so much fun watching Andrew and Josiah's relationship start to blossom. Josiah loves to watch Andrew, and if Andrew is nearby it is hard for us to get Josiah's attention because he will zone in on his brother. And Andrew has started paying more attention to Josiah. He will even try to calm him down when we are driving in the van (one of Josiah's least favorite things to do). Lately Andrew has been singing lullabies to him. So cute!
We are looking forward to continuing to see Andrew and Josiah grow in their relationship. And we hope that they will be lifelong best friends.
